Bentley Advanced Map Finishing processes MicroStation Raster Manager files. This format is far superior to the previous Import Raster Images or Raster Reference methods.

Images attached with Raster Manager can have an associated rotation and may be rotated by view rotation. Bentley Advanced Map Finishing prints images as they look in a MicroStation view. Bentley Advanced Map Finishing cannot read HMR images natively, so Bentley Advanced Map Finishing converts them to uncompressed tiled TIFF images temporarily. If multiple plots are required of a large HMR image, it may be quicker to convert the image to an uncompressed TIFF prior to plotting.
